To ensure that your pasta absorbs the flavour of the sauce, toss the cooked pasta immediately after draining the water. Cooked pasta absorbs flavour best when hot. 

Onion Soup (Kashaya)

Ingredients

  • Onion – 1 large size
  • Jaggery (Gur) – 3 Teaspoon
  • Water – 2 Glass (400 ml)

Method

  • Boil chopped onion and jaggery in water till the water content reduces to half (one glass).
  • Strain the liquid and consume it in two installments during the day.

This simple and easy-to-prepare kashaya can give relief from burning sensation while passing urine. It can also be consumed as a remedy for common cold.The jaggery in the beverage has several nutritional and therapeutic benefits:
